Between the engineering or virtual prototyping phase and the volume production phase the product development process is
characterised by a number of prototype runs and small series production. This process is explained in detail in the section
Product Development Chain.
Basically it contains the following three steps:
Physical Prototyping
Functional Prototyping
Pre-Production
Each phase has it's own specific objectives and characteristics. Enimco offers prototyping and pre-production services for any
aspect of an electro-mechanical product, based on modern prototyping technologies and on a selective network of suppliers which
are specialised in flexibility, quick turn around and the ability to improvise. This means that Enimco can deliver prototypes and
small production batches of electronic, metal and plastic products, but also of assembled products, within a short lead-time,
against the required quality and accompanied of advise on manufacturability improvement and product design improvement
opportunities.
